My friends and I love this exquisite tea room, whether we dress Victorian, Edwardian, or in modern attire on a given day. Service is always impeccable. The food ... oh, the food is sublime! The green salad is wonderful as are all of the homemade small batch soups. Mua's selections of tea are delicious, especially the chocolate-raspberry. I am addicted to her Coronation Chicken Salad and love it atop the green salad. I appreciate that she has regular as well as gluten-free bread and scones. Her lemon curd is perfection itself. I can't say enough good things about this enchanting place. Oh, and her homemade chicken soup is not to be missed. Believe me, Lovejoy's is a VERY special place.

Still our fave! Went for hubby's birthday again! Got same- Queen's tea for $38.99 & high tea for $29.99. Prices of course went up a bit since 2yrs ago. We liked the black currant scones + apricot one again- liked black currant more. I guess we haven't tried the lemon ginger yet! Got the china rose petal tea. Smelled great hubby got white peach again which he loves. Got pear & stilton (yum!), chicken walnut apple (yum!), turkey w cranberry champagne mustard? (Daily special), and roast beef w horseradish (probably will get a 2nd pear & stilton next time instead) Overall had a great experience and hubby had so much fun.

My family and I have been enjoying Lovejoy's Tea Room for probably 15 or more years. It remains as always a standout experience each time we visit. Going inside, you are treated to a cozy, eclectic dining room full of various vintage hats, decor and tea pots and cups. The tables are adorned with chairs and benches that feature cozy cushions, as you may enjoy at home. This place packs in the guests, and service is efficient if busy. But that's ok, because you're relaxing with tea! Many tea selections are available. I chose a Black Vanilla blend. There are decaf selections as well. The food is delicious - start to finish. You can choose from multiple services - a full "Queen tea" service down to a "Light tea". Most include amazing scones and Devon cream with jam. There are several sandwiches to choose from - cucumber and cream cheese is a favorite as is roast beef and horseradish. We also chose turkey with Dijon mustard and ham with English mustard. Don't miss the delicious crumpets - served with butter and lemon curd and orange marmalade. The included salad (with some of the teas) has the perfect dressing, with a nice kick to it. Following the tea, we were offered a dessert from a plate - beautiful looking sugar cut out cookies, petit fours, and tea cakes among others. None disappoint! You will spend about an hour and a half, maybe 2 hours enjoying your whole experience. The place is cozy but inviting. You will feel at home. We left content and happy and so glad we went. You will too! Don't miss this Noe Valley gem.

Another amazing Tea Day w/ the ladies...celebrating each other! "Treat Yo Self!" We had the best corner window nook of LoveJoy's Tea Room, w/ the fluffy pillows and Royalty Reserved Sign...soo demure, so mindful...very cutesy. Love our Hostess with the Mostess, Too-Too...she was the kindness and helpful. This is one of our favorite spots for tea because it's a Woman Ran Business and they are so accommodating and thoughtful. Tea is delicious and we love their scones and crumpets! It's the ladies' faves!

This was my first high tea experience. My friends, who had previously been before, suggested this place for lunch on 7/27. As it was my first time, I chose the light tea. I had the passion fruit black tea (bottomless!), smoked salmon & cream cheese sandwich, black currant scone with preserve & cream, tea biscuit, and fruit. I also added an order of a sausage roll, since I can never find it. I love fruity tea so the passion fruit fit my taste just right. The smoked salmon sandwich has never failed me yet and it definitely didnt here either! I haven't had too many scones before, but it was crumbly without being dry. Adding the jam and cream made it so delicious! The sausage roll was flaky but a bit dry. There was a sauce but it wasn't for me. The decor for the vibe fit very well and was a nice touch for my first high tea. Our server was very nice and attentive with water refills for the tea. I enjoyed this and would come back from a special occasion!

The most adorable tea room for afternoon tea! Ambiance & Service: The interior is incredibly cute and cozy, featuring a large variety of unique chinaware! Our server was very friendly. However, she offered sweet treats on a tray without mentioning they would be an upcharge. Food: We both ordered the High Tea. I had the English Breakfast tea, which was lovely! The Cucumber and Cream Cheese and the Pear and Stilton sandwiches were nice, though the bread was a bit dry. The tea biscuit with jam and cream was delightful! TL;DR: Fantastic place for an intimate afternoon tea! Recommend the High Tea with the Pear and Stilton sandwich!

This place is too cute. Not sure if reservations are required, but I'd highly recommend since they're even packed midday on a random Thursday. We ordered the High Tea and Shepherd's Pie--both were super yummy. The service was great and the atmosphere was super fun with mismatched plateware and lots of colors. You can tell that this was a former antique shop.

Over the Christmas holidays, we visited Lovejoy's Tea Room to enjoy high tea. We booked on Resy. I had this place bookmarked for the longest time and so happy to finally try it. Very cute, slightly ole fashioned in an endearing way. Love the eclectic vibe of mismatched cups and saucers. Tea was fun. Went with the hubby who although not into high tea, gave his best effort to enjoy this occasion with me. We got the Light Tea + additional items. We both enjoyed the tea sandwiches. He was enjoying more of my picks than the ones he picked out. Highlights are the cucumber sandwiches and the yummy scones with the Devon cream! Tea was delicious and service fit for Royalty. They actually have a cute sign saying Reserved for Royalty. Very fun and cute! Perfect for birthday parties and any occasions. Around the time we visited, the decor was holiday decor with emphasis on Alice in the Wonderland's Cheshire Cat.
